CITY, Kominfotik – The Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) RI will supervise the administration of government affairs in 14 Provincial Working Units (OPD) of Gorontalo Province. The Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Home Affairs, consisting of eight personnel,Vice Governor H. Idris Rahim welcomed them and immediately held an entry meeting in the Dulohupa room, Monday (6/9/2021).
Rolekson Simatupang, the Quality Control of Inspectorat General of the Ministry of Home Affairs, delivered that the supervision must be carried out included general and technical supervision.
He stated that this supervision refers to Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning on Regional Government and Government Regulation Number 12 of 2017 concerning on Guidance and Supervision of Regional Government.
“The general supervision that we will carry out covers government affairs, regional finances, organizations, law, and regional development. As for the technical aspects, it is related to the Satpol PP and Pemdes and Adminduk,” Rolekson added.
Regarding the inspection activities, Vice Governor H. Idris Rahim instructed the all working units or OPDs which are the object of supervision to prepare and submit data and documents needed by the IG team of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Idris also hopes that the examination can improve the accountability and performance of government administration by the Provincialian Administration.
The OPDs that are the object of supervision are the DPRD Secretariat, Regional Inspectorate, BAPPPEDA, Finance Agency, BKD, Health Office, PM, ESDM and Transmigration Office, as well as Satpol PP, Linmas and Firefighters. For the scope of the Regional Secretariat, supervision will be carried out at the Government and Welfare Bureau, the Legal Bureau, the Organization Bureau, the Development and Economic Control Bureau, and the General Bureau.
